Red-Eye Desk

$0.00

As a blend of form and function, this recording studio desk facilitates work while maintaing a modern aesthetic. Equipment racks create built in storage for equipment and the locking pullout shelf is perfect for keyboards without espousing an entirely utilitarian and industrial look.

The “A” frame gives the desk a sturdy stance, but the soft curves of the table top and drawer add a touch of softness to an otherwise utilitarian piece.

The design was driven largely by utility but the outcome is a unique and almost charicature like apperance that inspires the name. The naturally red tones of the wood and the popping “eyes” are reminiscent of a red eyed tree frog which has been the namesake of this piece.
